Summary

Prologue

In the Prologue, researcher Karl Selig and Steve Cooper, his grad school friend, discover a Nazi submarine sticking out of a large structure in an iceberg in Antarctica. They are accompanied by a woman named Naomi. Their corporate sponsor insisted that she join them on the expedition. The two men were in Antarctica researching how newly formed icebergs affected global sea currents as they dissolved. The had not expected to find a Nazi submarine. Karl knew that the Nazi’s had held a great interest in Antarctica and had even sent expeditions there in 1938 and 1939. They had even claimed part of the continent and called it Neuschwabenland.

Karl wants to investigate the submarine in case there is treasure aboard to be claimed. He and Steve manage to tie their boat up to the iceberg several miles from the sub and strange...
