Summary

In Chapter 20, the swap of the manual with the man who identified himself as John Paul Bullard went smoothly. When Dominika went to the bathroom of the hotel room where the meeting took place to put the American manual in the false bottom of a briefcase, as Volontov had requested she do, she put the real manual in a secret compartment behind the kick plate of the vanity and put a false manual in Volontov’s briefcase. Things went wrong when Bullard did not wait five minutes in the hotel room as he had been asked to do by Volontov. As a result, the FBI moved in to arrest him before the man Volontov had posted in the lobby of the hotel had left.
