Chapters 28 through 30 Summary

In chapter twenty-eight, Isolde does her part, spreading rumors about a new strain of the virus which creates unrest among the people. Kira plans to break Samm out of the hospital in the ensuing riot. Kira's group encounters Haru in the hospital and he initially refuses to allow them to take Samm away. Kira says allowing Samm to be executed is wrong and that the only hope for the unborn child of Haru and Madison. They eventually force Haru and the soldiers to put down their weapons and Samm says he didn't expect Kira to save him. She responds that he didn't have to save her in the lab. They manage to get out of the hospital.
