Summary

Part Five: 121: Ideals opens with Moash clearing rubble in Kholinar’s palace. He does not feel any satisfaction after killing Elhokar but he enjoys the rhythm of work. Lady Leshwi visits but refuses to tell him why they are taking apart that side of the palace. She says that Hnanan wants to speak to him and Moash meets her in the King’s Chambers. Hnanan says that she, her brother, and her sister will boast about picking Moash and that Odium wants him to kill a god.

Navani goes to Dalinar and he says that his memories came back because Odium was going to make him remember. But since he got them before the battle, he learned how to stand up on his own. He gives Navani the ruby and asks her to study it without setting the Unmade free. He then...
