Chapter 39 Summary

Aiden rushes in when he hears about the latest letter. He vows he and Spencer aren't going anywhere until the killer is caught. Regan manages to talk him out of summoning Walker home, as well.

While Regan has his attention, she tells him it's time for her to take care of her own problems, and that includes her business. She lectures him on the importance of her programs to the family business and, in the end, he agrees to double her budget for the following year.

The next days are difficult for Regan. There are only five more days until Alec leaves Chicago and, while he's been reporting for work every day, he's become distant and reluctant to.....
