Chapter 25 Summary

The Madisons' attorney immediately tells Regan she is not a suspect. Regan asks Aiden who told him about what was happening and Aiden replies that the attorney called him. Besides that, he'd found copies of the photos on his desk when he arrived at the office. He demands to know what she was thinking when she created her murder list. Regan doesn't bother to defend herself. She knows it won't do any good.

In addition, Aiden tells her someone also faxed the photos to her other brothers, all of whom are on their way to Chicago and want Regan under lock and key until the suspect is captured.

Aiden tells her to cancel everything on her schedule and remain secluded inside the hotel. He turns to Detective Wincott and begins discussing plans for Regan's protection.
