Chapter 11 Summary

A week has passed since he killed his first victim. The beast inside him whispers they have gotten away with murder. Now it is Friday and the beast is stirring again. The killer is determined to be better prepared this time. He disguises himself as a runner and adds a wig, glasses and a beard. Though he doesn't think he will need it, he puts a knife in his pocket.

Just as he rounds the corner at the hotel, Regan walks out and meets Cordie. As they wait for her car to be brought around, the killer hears one parking attendant call out to another, asking for the quickest route to the conference center. So the killer knows where Regan is headed and doesn't worry when he is unable to follow her. He simply drives on to the conference center, parks some distance...
