Chapter 10 Summary

Shields starts his program by outlining what the attendees can expect over the course of the weekend. Regan quickly loses interest and begins making a to-do list on the back of her program. It includes talking to security about Peter Morris. She looks around the room and realizes Shields captivates most of the women. He tells them they deserve to have everything they want, but first they must rid themselves of the poison inside themselves.

A woman, whom Regan suspects is a plant, stands up and asks what he means by poison. Shields explains that everyone has been hurt at one time or another. They carry that hurt around and it festers inside them. He tells everyone to pull out their notebooks and pens, and then asks them to make a list of people.....
