Summary

In Chapter 43, Snake was staying in a hiding place in Rodney with multiple ways to escape quickly if he needed to do so. Snake received a phone call from Billy Byrd who shared information he had gathered about Serenity and Dolores. Because he had heard rumors that it appeared from his opening statements that Quentin was going to fight, Snake asked about Tom’s routine in prison. Byrd appeared to be trying to discourage him from resorting to violence against Tom.
