Chapter 36-37 Summary

As the shock of Dolan's death sets in with the detectives at Sobek's house, Sobek himself arrives at his last victim's home and waits for the victim to return. Meanwhile, Vole and Krantz inspect Sobek's apartment and discover murder weapons, empty bleach bottles, and Lennie DeVille's police file. Sobek is the serial killer, but Cole knows that he is still not tied to Dersh's murder, and that Krantz remains convinced that Pike is guilty. Then, Cole discovers photographs of Lucy's son, Ben. Lucy is furious that her son's life is in danger, and Cole feels intense guilt as he races to Ben's summer camp. Ben is safely protected at camp, and Cole realizes that Sobek's photographs were a distraction. As the LAPD rushes to a summer camp, the killer has made his way.....
