Chapter 11-12 Summary

Cola arrives at Parker Center and senses an immediate, marked change in the mood of the team. Dolan gives him the reports that he has requested, but refuses to answer his questions about the case. When Cole reads the reports from Parker Center, he realizes that Krantz has doctored the criminalist's report that Pike showed him the night before. The autopsy report must have some missing information as well. He calls a contact in the coroner's office to confirm that Krantz is feeding him disinformation.

Early the next morning Cole meets Jerry, his contact at the coroner's office. Jerry reveals that Karen was shot with a gun that had an empty bleach bottle taped over the barrel as a makeshift silencer. Even more interesting, Karen.....
