Ride On: Chapter 30

Jude and Georgia place their fingers on the Ouija board pointer – called a planchette. Georgia introduces herself as Marybeth Kimball and then has Jude introduce himself as Justin Cowzynski. Jude feels foolish but follows Georgia’s directions and asks if Anna is there. When nothing happens Jude asks if Florida is there, and the planchette jumps beneath their fingers and spells out WHAT KEPT YOU on the board. Georgia asks how they can know it is her and not Craddock; the planchette spells out WHY IS THE SKY BLUE, and Jude knows it is Anna. Jude says that he is sorry he sent her away and when the planchette spells out ARE YOU ANGRY Jude says yes, she shouldn’t have killed herself.
