Nicholas is angry that Paige seems to be everywhere he goes. At first, he threw away her drawings, but soon he started to give the patient drawings to the patients and keeping the ones of himself. Nicholas goes to the operating room for his routine bypass that morning and attempts to set everyone at ease when he walks in, though he has not gotten that technique down quite yet. After the surgery is over, Nicholas looks up and is convinced there is an angel watching him from the observation room.

When Nicholas makes his rounds later that day, he finds Paige in nearly every one of his patients' rooms. Nicholas attempts to make her stay away, but Paige resists his every attempt.
