Summary

Chapter 31 - Sam discovers that Jeff has been arrested for trespassing on the airfield where Donovan stored his plane. When she contacts him, he assures her that it isn’t a problem and he’ll be rescued by Donovan’s lawyer friends. He ends up being released a few days later. He says that he was only breaking in to see if it was possible to sneak into the airfield and sabotage a plane, which it was. He let himself get caught so he could charm one of the guards, managing to find out that one of the guards had recently quit. Jeff is suspicious and is now looking into that guard.

Sam goes to court, alone for the first time. She’s representing Pamela, and the case goes over incredibly well. The judge rules in favor of Sam, and she ends up...
