Summary

Chapter 21 - Sam flies out with Donovan and Jeff to meet her father. They gather together to talk about the big case between Buddy and the Casper Slate Mining Company. Donovan is interested in going after the company itself. Sam shares the evidence they’ve gathered, and her father is hopeful that they will have an easy win, but they’re going to need finances.

He and Donovan work on the logistical details, with Marshall promising that he’ll easily be able to raise the necessary funds for the case. Compared to the cases that Marshall’s firm usually deals with, this one is relatively inexpensive, plus investors will be pleased with all the facts that they’ve gathered.
