Chapters 24 through 26 Summary

In Chapter Twenty-four, Sabine wakes Ever on Monday morning, warning her she's going to be late for school. Ever can't remember much that happened over the weekend. At school, Damen says he hopes Ever had as much fun as he and she nods though she can remember almost nothing. Haven is absent from school. Miles says he's heard from her and she's sick. That night Ever senses a presence in her room but is sure it isn't Riley. She dreams about running in a canyon and knows she's running away from Damen.

In Chapter Twenty-five, Haven returns to school and Ever rushes to her, relieved that she's alright though she's pale. She says she had a terrible bout of a virus that included some wild dreams. Haven also reveals that Drina has left for New York. Haven says she hopes the...
