Chapters 17 through 19 Summary

In chapter seventeen, Beatrice is out of the dormitory because she imagines she can still smell Edward's blood though it has been thoroughly cleaned. She encounters the Dauntless-born initiate named Uriah who says they are going on an outing and invites her along. She hops the train with them and only then asks where they're headed. Uriah says he doesn't know but points out his older brother, Zeke. A girl named Shauna says Four told her about Beatrice which rouses Beatrice's curiosity. They arrive at the Hancock building and discover the power is on so the elevators are working. They all go to the one hundredth floor where there is a zip line set up. Beatrice is thrilled with the ride and doesn't hesitate when it's her turn.
