Chapter 70 - 72 Summary

When David realizes that this is the girl he has been looking for he excitedly tells her she has something he needs. He offers to pay her for it. When David pulls out his wallet, the girl gets the wrong impression. She pepper sprays him and runs off.

Numataka asks his switchboard operator if she has a phone number yet. She tells him they are still working on it but the number is a cellular phone out of Washington, D.C.

Susan runs into Strathmore's office to get away from Hale. She calls for the commander but gets no response. Determined to get out of Crypto, Susan rushes over to Strathmore's terminal in an attempt to abort the TRANSLTR run.

Strathmore walks into the office and demands to know what she is doing. Susan tells Strathmore that Hale is not locked...
