Chapter Fifteen Summary

Surreal wakes up from a nightmare about Jaenelle dying. She hurries to Briarwood, where the ghost of Rose meets her and shows her where to go. Greer is raping Jaenelle, using Kartane and Robert's combined strength to create a shield around the room. Using her gray Jewel, Surreal is easily able to break the shield. She quickly kills Greer and picks up Jaenelle, who is unconscious and bleeding badly. She takes Jaenelle and hurries from Briarwood to Cassandra's altar.

Meanwhile, Saetan senses that something is wrong. He needs to penetrate the mist around Beldon Mor and asks Draca what to do. She takes him to a secret place in Hell, where there is a huge web with a Jewel in the centre that blends all the colors of the other Jewels. Saetan uses this to see what is happening to Jaenelle...
