Chapter Eleven Summary

Lucivar is imprisoned in one of Zuultah's cells and given only food and water that is laced with a drug called safframate, which acts as an aphrodisiac but prevents physical release in sex. Eventually Lucivar gets so thirsty that he gives in and drinks the water. He is then strapped to the bed while Zuultah's whole coven of witches uses him for their pleasure. After enduring a whole night of this Lucivar is finally untied from the bed, but he is taken straight to Zuultah for her own pleasure. By this point he is a bit delirious, and in sexual desperation he bites Zuultah. When he comes back to his senses he realizes that he has maimed her genital area.

Kartane brings this news to Daemon, and tells him that Lucivar has been sent to the salt mines as punishment. Daemon...
