Section 12: ch. 29-30 Summary

In chapter twenty-nine, "Shifting", Sam stops at a truck stop outside of Salt Lake City, Utah to get breakfast. Calliope expresses her faith that they will be able to retrieve Grubb. Calliope, Coyote and Sam plot, and Coyote states that they will have to trick the Guild. As Sam looks out the window at the gas pumps, a black limo pulls away. In Sturgis, they pull onto the dirt road that leads to the farm where the Guild meets, turn around to face the road and walk the rest of the way. In "Coyote and Cottontail", Coyote and Cottontail watch girls dancing in the woods.
