Part 2, The Quell: Chapters 10-12 Summary

In chapter ten, Katniss is confronted by two women who claim to be refugees from District 8. Aware of the uprising there, Katniss believes their story of escape. The women tell her that they worked together in a factory that made the Peacekeeper suits and that most of the uprising was planned in the factory. After the uprising, the factory was bombed and the two women escaped because of a blockage on the road that made them late. They quickly dressed in the Peacekeeper suits the older woman had previously stolen to escape the district with her husband, who is now dead. They plan to go to District 13 to seek help from those who somehow have survived the destruction of their district.
