Summary

The next day, Mercer looked for a good writing spot in the cottage but could not find one. She had decided not to start writing until she knew she was ready because she believed she had plenty of time. She sent an email to Myra and looked through the books that Elaine had sent her. An excited Myra called Mercer saying she and Leigh were lonely and always in the mood for company. It was arranged that Mercer would visit them about six that evening.
