Chapter 10 Summary

Reaching the test area, David explores the test rom while Rebecca and Steve investigate the offices. Rebecca finds Tom Athens' journal which mentions Dr. Griffith's interest in the others' experiments, reinforcing Rebecca's suspicion that Dr. Griffith is responsible for what they have found, but it also mentions that the T-Virus was stored in and that the transformations occurred in Block D, where Karen and John are searching. Rushing to tell David, Rebecca hopes that Karen and John do not touch anything that could hurt them. In the blue series area of the test room, David finds a chess set on a table. There is a metal plaque set into the table's surface with numbers which Dave realizes are code for the alphabet.
