Chapter 8 Summary

Trapped with both exits blocked. David sends Rebecca to cover the back door and John and Karen to the next building while he and Steve cover. As John and Karen run, Steve screams his frustration that the attackers will not die, so Rebecca tells him to aim for the head, concerned because the other zombies were slow and accidental, not on purpose, not with purpose. David motions Rebecca through the open door, but as the automatic ceases firing, the back door flies open and bullets fly from that direction. Rebecca, Steve and David rush to join John and Karen in the next building before slamming and locking the steel door. Rebecca agrees with David that this does not look like an accident, noting that the bodies should have rotted if they were T-Virus experiment.
