Chapter 4 & Chapter 5 Summary

In Chapter 4, Barry is stuck in complete and silent darkness for some time, but he regains consciousness to see Jill. Chris and Rebecca's worried faces. Rebecca tends to Barry's wound, but though they need to move, none of their homes are safe now. Barry and David are furious when they realize the shooter was the captain of the Oklahoma S.T.A.R.S.; "Umbrella may have been behind the attack- but the S.T.A.R.S. had carried it out" (p. 55). When David asks where they can go, Barry leads the group to Brad's cottage as it is close and the lease is not up for another month, deciding he will take Umbrella down because his daughters will not grow up in such a world.
