House of Night

The House of Night is a special school where chosen students come to through the Change. The Change is what turns the student into a vampyre or reveals the body's rejection of the Change, in which the student dies. Students at the House of Night learn traditional school subjects, but they also learn about using their powers. It is the school where Neferet is the High Priestess or principal of the school. The House of Night is where all of the characters attend or teach, except the human characters, such as Heath.

The Mark

The Mark is a special tattoo. The tattoo represents special powers or special actions that are exceptional to the Goddess Nyx.
