Chapters 11 and 12 Summary

In Chapter 11, Zoey identifies the necklace as that of the Dark Daughters and sons. The detectives say they found the necklace near the dead football player's body and that they want to see her necklace. The detectives reveal the boy died from multiple lacerations and complete loss of blood. Zoey's alibi for the time of the killing is she was in class. The detectives then ask to question Loren Blake, but Neferet lies and says he left yesterday morning before dawn to go to the East Coast school, but Loren was with Zoey at the wall during that time.

Zoey returns to her dorm and tells her friends about the questioning. She also checks and finds that her necklace is safely in her room. It cannot be Aphrodite's necklace because Neferet took Aphrodite's necklace from her and gave it Zoey. Zoey...
