Chapter Two Summary

At the beginning of chapter two, Batman says that Harvey Dent is dead. It is Thanksgiving night, and Batman and Chief Gordon are interrogating a suspect in the murder of Dent, Mickey "The Mink" Sullivan. Sullivan is the head of a small gang known as the Irish, all of whom have been rounded up and are being held in the jail. Batman and Gordon want Sullivan to tell them who hired him to murder Dent and offer to give him help if he does. Sullivan initially resists the interrogation and tells Batman and Dent that he does not know anyone named Carmine Falcone or The Roman. Batman produces a nail that was in the bomb that killed Dent and explains to Sullivan that each nail has a serial number which was traced to Sullivan's receipt.
