As Lucifer accompanies Phyllida on her errands, he prods her for details of what happened after he was knocked unconscious. She relates to him that he was found by Hemmings, Horatio's gardener, and the locals took him to jail. During this time, she had planned on coming to the manor to borrow a volume of poetry as she sometimes did.
