Chapters 131 - 140 Summary

Una, Mary and the boys watch the arrival of the Delight. They take turns watching for the arrival of the Pequod. Una goes to see the captain and he tells her of the mishap at sea that killed several men. Ahab was more interested in the fate of the white whale. Una knows that Ahab is still alive and goes to tell Maria of the visit. They are giving a dog to Justice. When she goes to see Mrs. Maynard, she learns another captain has said the Pequod was attacked by a whale and sunk. Captain Bildad confirms the story.

In chapter 132, Una has the Mitchells come out to view the meteor shower. They spend the night on the beach watching the meteors.

In chapter 133, Una, Mary and the boys recover from their losses. They attend the spring sheep shearing. Jim...
