Chapters 58-69 Summary

Both Kit and Una feel guilty for their survival based on cannibalism.

Chapter fifty-nine finds Una talking to Mr. Starbuck. He has been away from his wife and son for two years and invites her to visit his family in Nantucket. When she asks him to suggest a place where she and Kit can live, he says Mr. Sparrow will probably live in the madhouse.

In chapter sixty, Una overhears Ahab talking to one of the crew. He is happy that Una is aboard.

In chapter sixty-one, Una writes to her aunt and uncle telling them about her marriage and how they are en route to Nantucket. She tells them of Kit's illness and Giles' death.
