King's Court

Where Gwen lives as ruler of her kingdom, there is a working town within the walls of the King’s Court. There is not a great deal of description offered other than what is necessary to move the action along. For example, it’s known that there is a front and rear gate and they must be some distance apart. When Godfrey arrives at the front gate with the warning about the McCloud attack, Gwen and most of the people of the town move to the rear gates and leave the town behind. There is a wall surrounding the town and the castle where Gwen lives has several huge rooms, including a remodeled library and office where Gwen works.
