Monster Summary

Lanik is imprisoned in a tiny cell in the hold of the ship, not more than two meters wide. He has plenty to drink and eat, although the meat is maggoty and the bread is moldy. His body turns all the energy into making more and more organs and limbs until he is truly frightening.

Lanik listens to the people above-board and learns that they are from the land of Singer, but they are cruel, somehow also kind, and even sentimental.
