In chapter seven, Craddock interrogates Phillipa Haymes, Colonel and Mrs. Easterbrook, and Mrs. Harmon. Craddock visits Dayas Hall to talk to Mrs. Phillipa Haymes. He finds her in the Apple Orchard.
