Destiny Sword

The Destiny Sword is seldom mentioned within the novel, but it is a great artifact of incredible power. Its magic is responsible for The Ring, the magical barrier that keeps Andronicus and his evil empire out of lands controlled by the MacGils and McClouds.

The Ring

The Ring refers to a magical barrier that neither Andronicus nor his troops can cross. If they attempt to do so, they are instantly destroyed. Near the end of the novel, the Ring is dropped suddenly when someone steals the Destiny Sword.

Magic Ring

Not to be confused with the magical barrier explained above, Thor's mother leaves him a ring and tells him to give it to the woman he loves.
