Object Descriptions

Objects

Marlott - This is the English village where Tess is born and raised.

Tantridge - This is the English village where Alec D'Urberville and his mother live. Tess travels there to work for them.

Talbothay's Dairy - This is the place Tess goes to after the birth and death of her baby, and where she meets Angel Clare, Izz Rheutt, Marian, and Rhetty.

Emminister - This is the name of the English village where Angel Clare's family lives.

Kingsbere - This is the village where the ancestral home of the D'Urbervilles is located....
