Chapters 31-37 Summary

In chapter thirty-one, Miranda runs into Marcus on the street and asks him questions about time travel. Julia suddenly joins them and attempts to use a diamond ring to explain time travel to Miranda, but she continues to not understand. Miranda then asks why Marcus hit Sal and he tells her he had reasons, mostly to see what would happen. Then the Quack nearly runs them over, then turns in a panic when he comes face-to-face with Marcus.

In chapter thirty-two, Miranda's count on the rolls at the sandwich shop comes up short. Later, Miranda finds two rolls in the bottom of Colin's knapsack.

In chapter thirty-three, Miranda goes to visit Annemarie and learns that she has been on a special diet for a long time and that she has been throwing out the lunch her dad makes her each day...
