Summary

In Chapter 17, Caleb tells Sierra that he and Abby talked about his reaction to their conversation the night before. He realizes that he is the one who still has the problem with what happened. Sierra walks with Caleb to church. Before she leaves to go back to work, Abby distracts Caleb by telling him to get Sierra flyer for the candlelight service. While he is gone, Abby shares with Sierra how much Caleb likes her.

In Chapter 18, Sierra calls Elizabeth to find out how Rachel’s play went because she has not been able to get Rachel to respond to her texts. Elizabeth shares that Rachel is mad because Sierra chose a boy over her. She also tells Sierra they are concerned that she will get hurt by the relationship.
