Chapter 3 Summary

Abby hits her head on a shelf above her head, and has to remind herself that she is in London. She had arrived at 11 p.m. the night before, and the elevator had stuck between floors on her way to her dorm room. In the morning, she straightens up, in spite of her desire to let loose a little. At breakfast, Abby finds the food unappetizing, and she sits next to a girl with green hair and starts a conversation with her. This is Zoe is good-natured and laughs when she thinks that Abby is joking about her lactose intolerance, and she introduces herself. Abby confesses that she was nervous about coming to England, but when Zoe's eyes widen in distrust, she decides that she is not nervous at all.
