Summary

In Chapter 18, Marc describes an “awesome” day. He does exercises with Jake, noting that they do not run, giving Marc a rest for the next day. Marc promises to be ready to run a mile in less than six minutes. Kenny and Nathan arrive to work. Marc tells them about Anthony, saying Danny is “being a good brother and friend” (146). They agree that it bound to be difficult for Danny, and that they feel bad for thinking Danny was “weird” for not spending time with them. The boys spend the day working on lawns.
