Summary

In Chapter 57, Freddie felt guilty for “the terrible things he’d said” to Nicola, but still wished she would apologize (258). In the kitchen, Freddie asked Tom about Asperger’s. Tom said Freddie had been diagnosed as a child, but he never wanted Freddie to be labeled. Per Freddie’s request, he agreed to talk to the school to get him “extra support” (261). Freddie was grateful. He told Tom about Nicola’s outburst. Tom was sympathetic.
