Summary

Evangeline and Cal remain in Archeon as Evangeline tries to live out her days in as much peace as possible. Evangeline is surprised that her mother has not returned in a few days, as she and Volo are attempting to use Evangeline to turn Silver lords against Cal. She wonders what will happen if Anabel and Julian succeed in killing Volo. However, she sees water flowing the wrong way around the bridge outside and rushes to Ptolemus to announce that the invasion has begun. In the throne room, Evangeline says they may be able to turn Lakeland’s Reds thanks to Cal’s new decree. When Cal recommends Evangeline and Ptolemus fight, Volo disagrees.
