Summary

In the bedroom, Boone’s daughter Julia arrives. She tells the unconscious Boone that she loves him and forgives him for the harsher aspects of his personality while she was growing up because they made her into the person she is today. She then reveals that her friend Fran showed her a documentary about Boone that had upset her and made her wonder if Boone had deliberately misled people about climate science. She told him that if he had done the things the documentary suggests he has done that he needs to ask for forgiveness from God before he dies. Inside Boone’s thoughts, Jill discovers that Boone is intensely frustrated by his inability to argue his point with Julia, who he insists is mistaken and has been misled.
