When James arrived at the address that had been provided on the card, he read a sign that said it was a miming company. He pushed open the gate, walked up to the house, and entered slowly. The silence surged out of the place like a cloud. He stood still for a few moments to get his bearings and to let his eyes adjust to the dark.
