Chapters Twenty Two - Twenty Four Summary

Perry needs to hold the Croven off long enough for Roar and Aria to get to Marron's with Cinder. He struggles with his bow and using his feet, fires a clumsy shot. Roar appears, and taking Perry's bow he begins to fire as they back up the mountain towards Marron's. Sensing movement, Perry turns to see Marron's men coming. He and Roar turn and run without stopping till they reach the courtyard. Someone leads him to the medical facility where a commotion begins. He hurries toward the noise and finds Cinder slumped in a corner looking trapped. Perry tries to calm him, but can feel the surge of power as the lights go out.
