Chapter 3 Summary

Lula and Stephanie go to Pleasure Treasures, an adult toy store, to apprehend Caroline Scarzolli, a skip who was arrested for shoplifting. The store is one Lula has wanted to visit for a while, so she takes her time browsing the merchandise before approaching Scarzolli. Lula buys a toy and a video to give to Stephanie. When they check out, Scarzolli tells them they are having a two for one sale, so Lula forces Stephanie to pick out a toy as well. Then they tell Scarzolli who they are and Scarzolli pulls a shotgun out from behind the counter. Lula and Stephanie take their purchases and leave.

Stephanie and Lula return to the bonds office, where Carmen has not moved from her spot, and discover a large number of people inside. Connie ran an ad looking for another bounty hunter and these people...
