Do you find Jia Tolentino to be a reliable narrator? Why or why not?

Tolentino is an extremely self-reflective narrator -- she is expressive and eloquent with her words, demonstrating her beliefs with clarity and precision. The reader easily finds Tolentino to be reliable because of the way in which she is brutally reflective and hypercritical; Tolentino acknowledges the areas in which her behavior may be contradictory and hypocritical, and because of this, she appears to be less susceptible to the mass self-delusion that plagues our society.
