Boston, Massachusetts

At the outset of the novel, Sam and Sadie are both living in Boston, Massachusetts. Sam is attending Harvard while Sadie is enrolled at MIT. During rush hour on the subway, the friends reunite for the first time since childhood. Boston also serves as the setting for the development of Sam and Sadie’s first fame, Ichigo. At the outset of the gaming boom, the characters are able to make a successful video game out of their apartment.

New York City

Throughout Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, the characters periodically visit New York City. During a press tour, Sam and Sadie are in New York when they hear about an active shooter in Venice. While Sam’s trip to the East Coast city saves him from being attacked, Marx was alone when the shooters entered Unfair Fames looking for Mazer. Toward the end of the novel, Sam...
