Room 3 is Avram and Ilan's room in the hospital in the Prologue, 1967.

Room 7

Room 7 is Ora's room in the hospital in the Prologue, 1967. This is the main setting of the Prologue and is where Avram and Ora first encounter one another.

Tapuach

Ofer served at the checkpoint near Tapuach for seven months, and he tries to amuse Ora with stories of his time spent here before leaving her to go to the meeting place of the military campaign for which he has volunteered as The Walk, 2000 begins.

Gilboa

Gilboa is the meeting place for the military campaign that Ofer volunteers for. Sami drives Ora and Ofer and is upset because he is the only Arab in the caravan. Ora is distraught at her thoughtlessness but is too concerned for Ofer to consider how the drive to Gilboa would affect Sami.
